Amazingly, both the Nikon d3300 and the Nikon d5300 were launched at the same time. The name may be confusing, but the Nikon d5300 was actually available before the Nikon d3300. So you shouldn’t be confused by the name.
We would of course like to point out the price at the beginning. Here is the first difference that you will discover before you buy. The Nikon d3300 is a lot cheaper than the Nikon d5300. You should be aware of this. However, it should not be forgotten that you should take a closer look at the individual properties in the course of this. The price-performance ratio has to be right so that you can hold a very good camera in your hands. If a model costs a little more, but offers a lot more options, buying it is of course worthwhile.

Both have about 24 megapixels!

The number of megapixels is particularly eye-catching. For most Nikon models, these are in the same range. Even with the Nikon d3300 vs. Nikon d5300 shows only a very small difference here.
