Even if the name of the model suggests otherwise, there is a good two years between the appearance of the Nikon d7100 and the Nikon d7200. During this time, a lot of the technique could be fine-tuned, which is why you will probably expect a relatively large and clear difference in this comparison.

On the other hand, the price is always noticeable at first glance. After all, this is attached very clearly so that you know straight away how much you have to pay for such a camera. When comparing the Nikon d7100 vs. Nikon d7200, however, shows that both models cost pretty much the same, although the Nikon d7100 has been on the market two years longer.

24 megapixel resolution

Nikon d7100 vs Nikon d7200As you probably already know, both models have 24 megapixels and the crop factor is the same for both models at 1.5 x.
On the other hand, the light sensitivity is immediately noticeable. But the light sensitivity (boost) also shows big differences here. For the Nikon d7100, these two points are at 6,400 ISO and 25,600 ISO, respectively. The Nikon d7200, on the other hand, has points of 25,600 ISO and 102,400 ISO. A difference that is relatively serious and yet shows how much can change in two years in this regard alone. On the other hand, both products have sensor cleaning again.

the screen

When comparing the Nikon d7100 vs. relatively little to say about the Nikon d7200. After all, there are no differences at all in the individual aspects. Both models cannot fold out the screen and the cameras do not have a touchscreen either. At 8.1 cm, the size is relatively within the norm and nothing negative can be said about the resolution of 1128k or 1129k points.

A live view, on the other hand, is again known for both models.
Of course, the focus is also an aspect that we would like to briefly talk about. After all, this function is used very often and with pleasure. When comparing the Nikon d7100 vs. Nikon d7200 has shown that both cameras have an autofocus, i.e. have integrated phase detection. The focus points are 51 points and the cross type focus points are 15 – both for the Nikon d7100 and the Nikon d7200. As you can see, there are no differences here in this category.

But there is a slightly bigger difference when it comes to performance in low light. After all, it should still be possible to take a good photo. So when we compared the Nikon d7100 vs. the Nikon d7200 found that the d7200 was brighter. This is quite a big and clear difference, one can say.
Otherwise, both Nikon cameras have two memory slots, a built-in flash and a pop-up flash. Both models have HDR, but not the 3D function.
